Live Nannochloropsis Phytoplankton (8oz)

Nannochloropis is a type of microalgae, one genera of many that make up a group of photosynthetic microorganisms that contribute much of the energy that fuels the ocean. Nannochloropsis is a popular phytoplankton selection because of its abundance of lipids, carbohydrates, amino acids, and other nutrients. 
 
 
Usage. Dose at a rate of 1 mL / 5 gal. Increase dosage by 1 mL every other day until desired dosaged is achieved. If a dramatic increase of ammonia, phosphates, or nitrates occurs, lower dosage. Dosing your aquarium can be as easy as pouring into your sump or aquarium or spot feeding corals and other inverts (advised not to spot feed clams phyto or any coral foods) 
 
Composition: Long fatty acid chain, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Omega-3 (ω-3) fatty acids are essential components to a variety of marine life diets.
